If you are like most Americans, one of the favorite treats of the summer season is homemade ice cream or a cold, delicious ice cream cone on a hot afternoon.
The ice cream cones that we enjoy so much were actually invented by accident. It occured at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis when a concessionaire who ran out of clean dishes borrowed a wafer-like waffle from a neighboring conessionaire and rolled it into a cone shape, topped it with a scoop of ice cream ttid served it to his customers.
