“I have my own sense of what the church should be about, but we are a body and the decisions we reach and the goals we set will be done as a body.
“I consider this church,” he continued, “to be God’s gift to me. I want to take full advantage of the opportunity and do the best I can. I truly feel that I am here because he wants me here.”
Of both the church and the community, Rev. Bare added, “it is a great mix of old-timers and newcomers. And, there is a great energy that flows out of that mix.”
