Bible school, revival at Gid Brown Vacation bible school and revival services began at Gid Brown Church near Washington on June 25 and will continue through June 29. Area youngsters are invited to the vacation bible school hour beginning at 6:30 each evening. Pastor Jerry Whiteheart of Salisbury, North Carolina will be preaching beginning at 7:30 p.m. Gid Brown Pastor John Burke extends an invitation to all to attend.

Anniversary celebration The Senior Choir of Promise Land Baptist Church will be celebrating its anniversary on Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m. Evangelist Anna L. Allsberry of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville will be speaking. She will be accompanied by the Hopewell Senior Choir and the Faith Singers of Rappahannock County.
