To the editor:
A recent “Letter to the editor” from Jim Hofmann, secretary of the Culpeper County Democratic Committee, criticized Congressman D. French Slaughter Jr. for receiving money from political action committees and also urged the Congressman to “publicize” his record.
Mr. Hofmann must not have read the newsletters from his Congressman during the past five-and-a-half years or he would be aware of a truly commendable record. Space does not permit a complete review of this record which includes, but is definitely not limited to, the following:
