Since then Dr. Rish has been negotiating to purchase additional land which would allow for more houses to be placed on the property. He told the planners he has a contingency contract on an adjoining 15-acre parcel belonging to his sister and brother-in-law, which would bring the property back up to the 125-acre requirement for five lots.

In addition Dr. Rish has a contingency contract to purchase another adjoining parcel further east on U.S. 522 which is already allocated two building lots, one with 5.82 acres and one with eight acres, and he has a third contingency contract on a 10acre parcel on the other side of the Bessie Bell fire road which is entitled to one house site.
