Wanda Kay Heflin of Amissville, daughter of Kathryn H. Heflin and the late Janies J. Heflin Jr., and Kyle M. “Morris” Peters III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle M. Peters Jr. of Rixeyville, were united in marriage April 7 at Amissville United Methodist Church.

The bride, escorted and given in marriage by her mother, wore a satin re-embroidered alencon lace gown with a high illusion neck and long, straight sleeves with shoulder caps. The bodice and skirt were adorned with sequins, and a chapellength train with a lace cut-out pattern was attached. She wore a matching veil and carried a bouquet of white silk roses.
