hike approved By SHARON KILPATRICK lUpiwhwuiock New. SUff Writer The Board of Supervisors approved hefty increases in fees charged for certain Health Department inspections at their Monday meeting. In the past the county only collected a $35 fee for approval of septic tanks. Under the new schedule of fees this will be increased to $50, and new fees were added for other inspections. The fee for a well inspection will also be $50. For a subdivision evaluation the fee will be $100 plus $50 per lot. For a “real estate certificate” the fee will be $75. The fee for evaluating the system planned for a restaurant, bed and ■ breakfast or “similar use" will be $250.
