Mrs. Baker said the young goat 1 had puncture wounds in its leg where the skunk had bitten and the leg was covered with saliva from the skunk’s mouth.
“I got the saliva all over my hands,” Mrs. Baker said, adding her hands often have cuts and sratches on them from farm chores and work with the goats.
Three days later the tests proved the skunk was rabid.
