Mrs. Jean B. Moffett left Tuesday, July 3rd for a month’s visit with her daughter and family Mrs. D.C. Welling, Judith Carter, Anne Katherine and David Bentley in Ledyard, Conn.

Mrs. Yvonne Sutphin of Melbourne, Australia is visiting with Ms. Carolyn Grubbs on her Deerfield Farm at Washington for most of the summer. It is the first visit to Washington for Mrs. Sutphin. 'Mrs. Sutphin is married to Ron Sutphin of Fairfax. The couple and their three children have lived in Australia since leaving Fairfax in 1978. Ms. Grubbs has resided at Deerfield since 1985.

Ms. Betty Menefee of Warrenton and Mrs. Frances Eubank had breakfast Saturday morning at The Country Cafe.

Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. Frances Eubank were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hundson and Victoria of Chester Gap, Mrs. Mary Carter Smoot and Crystal of Lake Front Royal and Mrs. Sandra Hitt of Woodville.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax were Friday until Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Fairfax in Williamport, Md.

Saturday guests of Mrs. Mattie Ball Fletcher were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulkner of Orange.

Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell visited Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lockhart in Front Royal and all shopped at the Apple Blossom Mall in Winchester.

Troy Baker was in Blacksburg at V.P.I. June 25-29 on business.

Mrs. Donna D’Ottavio and son Mario of Sioux City, Iowa arrived Sunday to spend several weeks with her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pennington were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lundford Ayers in Charlottesville.
