It’s been another great week; the last of the baby blue birds took flight; the Indigo buntings are a delight to observe; the'Canadian goslings have survived the sly fox; however, the last of the ducks disappeared this week. I hope you observed the spectacular double rainbow in the sky Sunday afternoon. It was beautiful!
The Rappahannock Athletic Association’s Little League Baseball end-of-season picnic and awards ceremony will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Stuart field. The public is invited to enjoy family baseball fun all day.
The Amiss ville Homemakers Club will meet Monday, August 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church. Tina Weaver, Director, Hospice of the Rapidan, Inc. will present a program on the Hospice. There will be time for questions and answers about the Hospice program.
