The r lint Hill firemen s carnival opened last night and will continue tonight with the grand parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. led by the newly crowned Miss Virginia, Shannon DePuy of Amherst. Ronald McDonald sponsored by McDonald’s of Front Royal and Winchester will be featured along with many other floats, bands and fire and rescue units.
A boxed dinner will be available for $5.00 consisting of fried chicken, ham biscuit, baked beans, tomato and brownie. Also the usual hamburgers, hot dogs, fries and baked foods.
