Class of 1972 plans reunion

The Rappahannock High Class of 1972 is preparing for its 20-year reunion, and wants to hear from any classmates from the years 1970-74 to participate in the dinner-dance tentatively slated for May.

Baseball sign-upy draft

The Rappahannock Athletic Association's spring baseball leagu^wiH hold late sign-up, 10 a.m.-noonSatju/day, March 7 at Stuart Field in Amissville.

The coaches' draft of new players and players moving up in age divisions will follow at Stuart Field and Pullen Field in Amissville, depending where the team plays. Note that late sign-up will take place in Amissville only.

Fees are $15 per child or $25 per family. Bring birth certificates. Sign-up for 16-18 year olds is $20. Plans are to form a girls softball league; if there are not enough girls interested then those who have signed up will have the option of getting a refund or playing baseball. j

Rep. Allen staffer visits

Ben Dutton, Winchester constituent representative for U.S. Rep. George Allen, R-Va., will visit Rappahannock County from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. March 11. Mr. Dutton will be available to answer questions from county residents at the Rappahannock Courthouse.
