The other division spotlighted William Russell’s Bluff Cove (Marc Sharp up). The youngster looked on course for a comfortable success throughout the race. After straightening out in the stretch, Mr. Sharp got to work on the 4-year-old and brought him home by a relaxed three-length margin.

The Rappahannock Emergency Management Agency is taking part with similar groups across the state in a mid-Atlantic regional hurricane exercise code-named Integrated Exercise Zelda during the first three weeks of March.
The purpose of the exercise is the test regional, state and local emergency preparedness plans, policies, procedures and decision-making.
The day of heaviest involvement by state and local emergency management officials will be March 18. The response phase of the exercise will conclude March 20, and the exercise critique workshops will be in April.
