Town attorney Frank Reynolds said that a requirement for screening is part of the town’s zoning ordinance and could not be considered as part of the subdivision application. He added that the Planning Commission could send a note to the Town Council along with their recommendation on the subdivision asking the council to consider whether the zoning ordinance is being violated. The planners voted to recommend the subdivision with such a note.
The third subdivision request was for property owned by Diane Bruce. Ms. Bruce’s property is also crossed by the town-county boundary. Her subdivision would create a .62-acre parcel in'town behind the
