349-0531 One of the most important and obvious benefits of Fauquier Hospital's construction program is the new Emergency Department, scheduled to open in early March The facility is newly constructed and designed for the unique needs of a busy Emergency Department which now treats more than 16,000 patients a year. The space includes six private examination rooms, separated by walls not curtains, two trauma/code rooms, a decontamination room, dedicated cast room, centralized nurses station and triage area. A portion, of the funds used for the Emergency Department were contributions received through the Capital Campaign.
