Hospice holds fashion show
Friends of the Hospice of the Rapidan, which serves Rappahannock, invite the public to a Spring Fashion Show and Tea, 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Orange Baptist Church in Orange.
Fashions will be provided by Talbot's and The First Years.
All proceeds benefit the Hospice. Cost is $15 per person, and advance purchase is necessary due to seating limitations.

Windmore auditions
The Windmore Foundation for the Arts in Culpeper announces auditions for a "One-Act Weekend," which will be presented in June.
Auditions will be held at 2 p.m. March 8 and 7 p.m. March 9 in the parish hall of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Culpeper.
Plays to be performed: "The American Century" by Murphy Guyer and "The Shepherd's Chameleon" by Eugene Ionesco.
About 10 actors will be needed for each performance. Other volunteers are also needed; stop by auditions or call 703399-1730.
'Little Man Tate' shown
"Little Man Tate," starring Jodi Foster, Dianne Wiest and Adam Hann-Byrd, will be shown at The Theatre at Washington, Vai^t30p.m. Sunday,March8, the RAAC > Sunday movie.
The title character, a child prodigy, is torn between his know-nothing mother (Foster) and a knows-too-much child psychologist (Wiest). When Wiest invites Foster to spend a summer observing the child, Foster is uncertain whether Tate should remain a boy or leave home to stimulate his intellectual needs. An impressive and auspicious directing debut by Foster.
Rated PG, 108 minutes. Tickets are $4 for adults, $3 for children.
County musicians to perform
Both Trapezoid and Peter Kater will perform at the Charlottesville Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 7.

Art show entries requested
Entries are being accepted for the 45th Annual Neighborhood.Art Show, to be held May 15-17 at Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains.
The popular, non-juried show offers artists within a 75-mile radius of The Plains an opportunity to exhibit up to two works in media, such as oil or acrylic painting, watercolor, drawing, prints, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and mixed media. Artists may price their works for sale.
The show also features a junior division, with one entry accepted from local children under 18.
Entry fees are $5 for adults, $2 for children. Proceeds benefit a variety of church relief activities.
