Topeador (Henry Wood up) and Captain Nevarre (Bay Cockbum up) were in the iir together over the last fence in the owner-rider timber race at the Rappahannock Point-to-Point Feb. 29, but Mr. Cockbum got to work on hU 7-year-old to get him home by a length at the line.
The nearly indomitable Topeador, was prominent throughout the featured race at Thornton Hill Farm in Sperryville, but crossing the last, Captain Nevarre loomed as a danger to the Chilean-bred's three-race streak at Rappahannock.
