Reynolds joins
Forest Service
Herbert M. Reynolds, -14, of Oak Park in Madison County, has replaced Tippy Jenkins at the Virginia Department of Forestry’s MadisonRappahannock office.
Mr. Reynolds took over Jan. 1 from Mr. Jenkins, who retired.
The primary responsibilities of the forest wardens are to maintain fire suppression and prevention, check on timber harvest operations, work with the area forester (Buck Kline) on timberland examinations. He also monitors woodland fires, especially during the fire season.
