Board chairman L.G. “Butch” Zindel pointed out that variances are not issued lightly and should he used for cases when denying them would present a “hardship approaching confiscation.”
Church members agreed to return to the March meeting with a better site plan.
The BZA adopted a budget for next year that calls for no increase from the present budget.
The board also elected officers for the current year. Mr. Zindel will continue as chairman and Sid Gottlieb as representative to the Planning Commission. Jennifer Matthews was elected vice-chairman.
