Rappahannock citizens are taking a “wait and see" attitude toward proposals on the economy President Bill Clinton made during his State of the Union address last Wednesday.
Will higher taxes on gasoline hurt the tourist business or mean that fewer people will want to live in Rappahannock and commute to jobs out of the county? Will higher taxes on the wealthy mean that fewer will come to eat at The Inn at Little Washington? Will we receive any more monies from proposals for increased funding for Head Start, childhood immunizations, and the Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
