Hospice is becoming increasingly known and more widely used. Last year, for example, (i9 patients relieved Hospice Care in our community, and nationwide the total was well over 210,000 patients. Hospice has become so accepted that it is now covered bv Medicare. Medicaid and most private insurers.
Because of strong community support. Hospice of the Kapidan provides full services to anyone without regard to ability to pay.

Although our service is only provided to terminally ill patients, experience has taught us that the earlier hospice enters a case, the more effective our help can be. For this reason, and because it is also good personal planning, we invite all inquiries-even those where there may be no immediate need for Hospice.
It is not our place or intention to pass judgment on I)r. Kevorkian or on the people whose desperation drove them to seek his services.
But to those who think his way is the only way, please investigate Hospice Care. Kven in the face of terminal illness, comfort, dignity, and quality in living is possible.
