Bryant and Holly Welch and girls, Emily and Katie spent Saturday at the Blue Ridge Outlet center at Martinsburg, W.Va. They had dinner at Shoney’s.
Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Dodson hosted a family birthday dinner at the Bavarian Chef near Charlottesville on Saturday evening. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dunn, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Dodson and Mrs. Barbara Gentry. They were celebrating the birthdays of Mrs. Gentry, Gray and Mrs. Dunn.
Pam Gamer and Janest Maness of High Point, N.C. spent the weekend with Louise and Mac McCullock. They also visited other relatives in the area, including their grandmother, Mrs. Moffett Brady. Mrs. Irene Hamilton who spent a week with her mother, Mrs. Brady returned to her home at High Point on Monday accompanied by her daughters, Pam and Janet.
Harlen Jones of Vinton, Iowa joined his wife, Ann at the home of her mother, Mrs. Moffett Brady on Friday.
Mrs. Libby Wharton continues to be a patient at Leesburg General Hospital and is visited daily by her family.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship services at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28.
Mr. and Mrs. Dougie Bywaters and family had as their Sunday dinner guests Mrs. Alice Pullen, Terry and David By waters and Jennifer, Mrs. Mary Frances Bywaters, Greg and Cindy Sanders and Nathan.
