Science Fair, and it gets better each year. Special plaudits should be given to all the faculty involved, especially Brion Patterson, who organizes and directs the Fair each year. Mr. Patterson could use more help from county residents as judges and general helpers; interested citizens should contact Mr. Patterson at the High School.
I have watched the Rappahannock County School System evolve and improve over the last 12 years that this county has been my home...I think this kind of progress should make both teachers and citizenry proud. Our tax dollars are well spent!

To the Editor:
On behalf of the science students and teachers of Rappahannock, I wish to thank the community for providing tremendous support to the Rappahannock Science Fair.
Mrs. Maggie Rogers contributed in countless ways, including coordination of the PTO participation, helping the students set up their projects, and (with Tucker, Jessie and Adam) setting up about 70 tables.
Jim Roszak organized all the activities of the Elementary School. Patti Waddell served as Judge Coordinator for the Fair.
Blueridge Technologies donated financial support, along with the Parent-Teacher Organization, the Gifted and Talented program and the RCHS science department.
