Black History program The gospel chorus of Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will be sponsoring their annual Balck History Program at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. The speaker will be Rev. Bessie “Tish” Taylor. She is the Associate Minister and Director of Christian Education at the way of the Cross Baptist Church in Palmyra. Lenten program to begin The annual ecumenical Lenten program will be held at Trinity Church in Washington on the five Wednesday nights in March beginning March 3. Potluck supper is at 6:15 p.m. followed by a preaching, teaching, and singing program. Nursery will be provided during the program. The sponsoring churches are the Rappahannock Methodist Charge, Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, and Washington Baptist Church.
