Page Memorial Hospital has become an affiliate in the SunHealth Alliance, a group of leading nonprofit hospitals across a 15 state region.
The alliance hospitals work together in activities designed to hold down healthcare costs, maintain high quality of care, and make health services more accessible across the region. They develop, operate, and use a variety of alliance services and prop-ams like cost management and decision support systems, insurance programs, and group purchasing to help reach those objectives.
They collaborate to share best practices and transfer technology and new knowledge in healthcare organization, management, and operations. They work together to develop and identify better ways to address problems and changes, and to share innovations and improvements.
Participating organizations range in size from 54 beds to 1600 beds. Many hospitals are teaching institutions renown nationwide for their technological advances. Others are respected community medical centers on the front lines of care. Still others are multi-hospital systems organized to serve the healthcare needs of a wide geographic area.
