Cletus Clarke

Mr. Cletus Daniel Clarke, 69, of Sperruville, died on Wednesday. Feb. 17, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

He was bom on March 24,1923 in Rappahannock County, the son of Rossie and Lillian Pullen Clarke.

Mr. Clarke was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church.

Mr. Clarke is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary L. Clarke and a daughter Mrs. Kristin Toulotte of Madison.

He is also survived by three sisters Mrs. Eva Dodson and Mrs. Elsie Atkins, both of Sperryville and Mrs. Virginia Woodward of New Market and a brother Amos Clarke of Sperry ville.

Additional survivors include two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. L. Starke Jones and the Rev. William Harrison officiating.

Pallbearers were Ricky Shaw, Darren Dodson, Greg Jenkins, Terry Woodward, Michael Atkins and David Clanagan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sperry ville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 178, Sperryville, 22740 or to the Woodville Baptist Church, do Martha Lou O’Bannon, Woodville, 22749.

Found and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Frances Sisk

Mrs. Frances M. Sisk, 84, of Front Royal died Feb. 22 at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
