Mrs. Ozemoy said that Russians are now using symbols from the Czarist days. “It is a very conservative culture,” she said. She noted that anti-semitism has not decreased with the coming of greater freedom. “I don’t believe Jews have a future in Russia,” she said.
She said after seven years in this country she is still soaking up experiences. She hopes that this will lead to another creative period in her life.
Mrs. Purnell said it is a relief to be back in the United States where she can get supplies easily. “You can get blue any month,” she said.
