Virginians can help save lives and honor the memory of a loved one during May, the American Heart Association’s Memorial Month.
A contribution to the American Heart Association’s Memorial Program in the name of a deceased family member, friend or business associate, supports cardiovascular research and community education.
“Most of us have lost family members or friends to heart disease. This is not surprising when you realize that heart disease kills more people than any other cause of death,” said George A. Beller, President of the Virginia Affiliate. “The American Heart Association’s Memorial Program offers a way to help the living by supporting lifesaving research and educational programs while honoring those who have died,” Beller said.
