Hearty Thank You
To the Editor:
On behalf on the Rappahannock Chapter of the American Heart Association, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to this community for the support we received with our “Celebrity Celebration for Heart.”
Our celebrity waiters included the top tip-raising team of Vinnie Carvey and Tut Perrins, as well as Jenks Hubson, Doug and Mary McCabe, John McCarthy, Barabra Slater, Philip and Merrill Strange, and Helen and Emerson Williams. Each of them worked very hard to serve and entertain their guests as well as benefit the American Heart Association.
The evening was backed by a crew of extremely hard workers including Rosa Crocker, Marie Davis, Hazel Zinn Day, Cynthia Lawson, Cindy Mahan, Carol Miller, Paul Michols, Gil Webb and Pat Vest Wharton.
We had a very successful auction and I would like to thank Phil Irwin and Bill Payne each for manning the microphone in such an entertaining manner.
