iUpiwhannock News Staff Writer ! The Rappahannock baseball team made the semi-finals in district tournament competition last week With a 5 to 2 victory over fourthdeeded Strasburg Friday. The team was due to play top-seeded Brentsville at Stonewall Jackson Tuesday. ; The Panther squad came into the tournament ranked fifth in the district with a record of three and a half wins to four losses. The half win came when a makeup game scheduled with Stonewall Jackson last Wednesday was called because of rain after six innings with the score tied 1 to 1.
