Charla Ann Sisk of Sperryville
was named “Miss Rappahannock” in the annual Jaycee sponsored Beauty Pageant held Friday evening. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sisk and a senior at Rappahannock County High School.
A county budget totalling $1,217,664 has been proposed for adoption by the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors for the fiscal year 1973-74. A hearing on this is set for June 7 in connection with the regular June meeting of the local legislators. The budget is an increase over the previous year of $99,924 and while most categories show and increase, the Department of Welfare shows a decrease in funding.
