The board did vote to ask Mr. Luke to write to the State Corporation Council asking the SCC to hold a public hearing before issuing a certificate to the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative for the proposed transmission line from the Potomac ' Edison substation in Sperryville to the REC substation' in Rixeyville. Mr. Luke said he did not know if the transmission line would require a certificate from the SCC. He said if such a public hearing is held, it will probably be in Richmond.
