Our next stop was at least a mile on. This would be the Tom Dwyer (Thomas Jefferson Peterson Dwyer) place. Here again, the property was owned by the Armentrout faimly. Remains of the seat and clearly visible and are again marked by the daffodils.
The next part of our trail was a little more treacherous. The old road was now a stream bed very gullied out and filled with rushing water. So by carefully following first this way and that we came to the Thornton River.
