Harry Kennedy
Harry Thomas Kennedy died on Aug. 2 of a stroke.
He was born in Boone County, West Virginia, Dec. 9,1900.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Blanche Doss Kennedy; his daughter, Joy Hughes of Vienna; his son, Rex Kennedy Slack of Washington; two brothers, Guy Kennedy of Charleston, West Virginia, and William Kennedy of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Jeremy and Daniel Slack and his daughter-in-law Laurie Marshall.
Harry Kennedy worked as a painter for Union Carbide in Charleston, V£est Virginia. He was a man of the out-of-doors and love to recite poetry.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 7 at Money and King Funeral home in Vienna.
Donations were made to Children Hospital in his name.
