On Saturday, after learning of the death of Mr. Riley, the gospel group, Purple Robe, performing at the Ruritan’s Family Fun Day, dedicated a song in his memory and of Mr. John “Junior” Silvey who had died the previous week.
Miss Tiffany Early is the Ruritan Club’s first “Miss Ruritan.” She will be receiving a $50 Savings Bond donated by Rappahannock National Bank. Her crown was donated by Petersen Jewlers in the Meadowbrook Shopping Center, near Aides in Culpeper.
Sean Cordani is the Club’s first “Mr. Ruritan.” He, too, will receive a $50 Savings Bond from Rappahannock National Bank.
