On Sunday evening the Waylands had dinner at The Mimslyn Inn at Luray in celebration of their anniversary.
The Sperryville Bridge Club was entertained Friday night at the home of Mrs. Eleanor Cordle.
Those playing in addition to Mrs. Cordle were Mrs. Miriam Reeve, Mrs. Edna Metzinger, Mrs. Cotton Miller, Mrs. Lucy Ann Maeyer, Mrs. Mary Q. Snead, Mrs. Dot Estes and Mrs. Lucia Kilby.
Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Reeve, Mrs. Metzinger, and Mrs. Maeyer.
