John Davis Jr.
John “Johnny” F. Davis Jr., 84, of White Post, died Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted Friday, Oct. 8 at the Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas by the Rev. B.L. Lock.
Mr. Davis was born July 4, 1909, in Washington, D.C,, son of the late John F. Davis Sr. and Hattie Ardenia Chisolm Davis.
He was a retired fanner and selfemployed carpenter. He was a methodist.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian Mae Ainsworth Davis; three sons, John F. Davis III of Stephens City, William L. Davis of Amissville and Lynn Davis of Manassas; tw'o daughters, Linda D. Garvin of Annandale and Lisa A. Lodge of Winchester; seven grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.
Also surviving are two brothers, Lawrence J. Davis of Falls Church and Homer L. Davis of Purcellville; three sisters, Gloria Roland and Mariam Leslie, both of Fairfax and Florence Windsor of Arlington.

Aubrey Douglas Settle Sr., 57, of Amissville died Monday, Oct. 4 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
