Mr. and Mrs. William Gibbs entertained her mother, Mrs. George Butler at a party on Tuesday evening in honor of her birthday. Other children present were Jane B. Thornhill and husband. Buddy, Mr. and Mrs. George Butler Jr. of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Lee Butler, Markwood Butler and daughter Patricia, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler, also Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda all local, and Miss Elsie Courtney of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and sons, Michael and Christopher accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were Sunday dinner guests of their nephew Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Frazier and Crissy in Woodbridge and were joined there by Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier of Fredericksburg.
Tommy Gaines of Radford spent the recent weekend here with his mother Mrs. Charlottee Gaines on Rt. 707.
