Also surviving are six brothers, Isaac Burner, James Burner, John Burner, Paul Burner and Joe Burner, all of Stanley and Malcolm Sites of Luray and four sisters, Betty Cloud and Anna Sue Payne, both of Culpeper, Sarah Napier of Leesburg and Mary Burner of Luray.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 28 at Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Everett officiating.
Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amiss ville Fire Department.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
