She was bom on Oct. 10, 1900, in Rappahannock County to the late Arthur and Texanna Porter Freeman. She was the fourth child out of seven sisters and brothers.
Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Franklin Freeman and a son, Charles Franklin Freeman Jr.
She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Clanagan, Lucy Reece and Martha Anna Freeman, all of Cumberland, Md.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; cousins and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 24 at the Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. John Pendleton officiating.
Interment was in the Freeman Family Cemetery in Washington.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
