Winners in the Amissville Volunterr Fire and Rescue Department’s carnival last week included the following;
In the cash drawing, $1,000 - Lee Bisutti, Warrenton; $500 - Helen Dixon (which she returned to the Fire Department); $50 - Willie Eastham, Red Hill Farm; $50 - Elmer Atkins, Sperryville; $25 - Peggy Simmons, Culpeper and $25 - Dr. W. Krebser, Flint Hill.
Honorary Fire Chief winners were: Queen - Angie Clark who ran unopposed; Junior Miss - Juanita Cook, ran against Sabrina Hensley and Little Miss - Amanda and Meagan Smith tied, only two running.
The above group of contestants raised $1100 for the Department.
