Oh, that is for “services” I receive from the county government. If I recall correctly, the biggest expense the county has is the school system. Could I have sent my children to the county schools as if I was a county resident? Perhaps, but that is hardly practical. So I ask Col. Bingham, who is getting the free ride?
I Will look like an “outside investor” if you look in the county records. However, it is my intent and hope to become a resident some day, after retiring. But, I am feeling uneasy about some of the things I read in the Rappahannock News about growth and taxes.
