EDU stands for Equivalent to Dwelling Unit. It is the basis for charging for using the sewer system. Normal residences are charged one EDU. Commercial establishments are charged more, and the number of EDUs depends on factors like highway frontage, number of employees and expected water use.
Members agreed to consult with an attorney about what procedures they need to follow to order the sale of a property whose owner has not paid sewer bills for three years.
