Jennifer Jo McNear graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. on May 28 with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering. She is a second generation McNear graduate of the Military Academy.
She was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. After completing airborne school and the engineers officers basic training course, Lt. McNear will report to her first duty station at Ft. Polk, La. , She is a 1989 graduate of Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, Pa. Lt. McNear is the daughter of Dick and Jeanie McNear of Washington. 11
