ning, and then in the bottom of the inning RAA’s catcher Eddie Putnam beat out a bunt along the first base line. Chris Turner hit a double, putting runners on second and third, and a hit by Brandon Gue scored Eddie from third for the winning run in the 4-3 victory.

On the other field two Charlottesville area teams were playing. Peachtree defeated Northside 10 to 3.

Friday’s play brought in the two teams that had byes the first day, Orange and Madison.

At noon Rappahannock faced Orange and Peachtree faced Madison. RAA took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a hit by Chris Turner and a double by Chris Sealock.

Michael Kowcenski was on the mound. He gave up a couple of walks and a hit and the inning ended with the score tied 1-1.

At the top of the second Alex Baumgardner hit the second of his three home runs giving RAA a 2-1 lead.
