Orange, which had eliminated Peachtree 14-2 earlier in the day, RAA started by getting two runners on base, but could not bring them home. With Chris Turner pitching, Orange got a one run lead in the bottom of the first inning. The Orange squad added another run to its score in the bottom of the third.
In the top of the fourth inning Alex Baumgardner got a single and managed to score on a couple of “fielder’s choice” plays to finish the inning with RAA down 2-1.
That was the end of the good news, however, as Orange got four more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and won 6-1.
