Silver Award. Brownie Troop 2021 with girls Bobbie Jo Brown, Crystal Smoot, Jessica Estes, Melanie Torrance and Ashleigh Burke were accompanied by Ginger Estes, Kathy Smoot and Sarah Brown. Richard and Judy North transported some of the girls but spent the night elsewhere.
The Girl Scouts participated in several activities such as rocket boosters, structures, bubble makers, Kaleidoscope, magic and also attended two movies, one on Yellowstone National Park and the other one on the Solar System.
Andrew Burke celebrated his 10th birthday on Tuesday, April 14. He was honored with a birthday party on Saturday, April 1 at Pizza Hut in Front Royal.
Others attending were Mr. Doug Exline of Warrenton, Jonathon Clatterbuck of Washington, Lisa, Stacy and Jason Streightiff of Amissville, Jeanette, Tiffany and Steven Mallory of Flint Hill, school friends, Jeremy Graves, Tony Starks, Zach Bridgeman and Chris Ramey also attended. Mrs. Karen Ramey also attended. Andrew received nice gifts.
Andrew Burke spent the night on Saturday with his friend, Chris Ramey at Slate Mills.
On Sunday, April 2 a baby shower was held for Hope Huff of Chester Gap at The Country Cafe. She received many nice gifts from all her family and friends who were there.
