Mrs. L.eake was a retired LPN of the Virginia Baptist Retirement Community and a member of the Culpeper Full Gospel Church in Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband, John Peyton Leake of Culpeper; one brother, David R. Dodson of Fredericksburg; three sisters, Frances Branham of Barboursville, Dorothy Stafford of Suffolk and Joan Folsom of Hollandaie, Fla.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 31 at Geest Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Blackburn and the. Rev. Ken McLaughlin officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Hawkins, Leonard Gray, Randolph Woodard, William Cook, Mark Hanna and David Blackburn.
G. Emerson Smith
Garland Emerson Smith, 85, of Warrenton, a retired farmer, died on Monday, March 27 at his residence.
A native of Castleton, he was the son of the late Charles Harrison and Louise Cropp Smith.
He was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Virginia Smith O'Bannon of Warrenton.
Graveside funeral services were held on Thursday, March 30 in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, the Rev. Sam. P. Jones, Jr. and the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Fire Company and Rescue Squad.
Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
