Wanda F. (Pocky) Budrick died March 30 at The Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City of congestive heart failure

She was born April 9, 1905, in Hoboken, New Jersey to Pius and Amelia Budrick.

She lived in Hoboken and Jersey City and worked as the head bookkeeper for Ackley Mutual in New York City until 1975. A talented seamstress, she designed and made clothes both professionally and for her family . Her marriage to Jackson Feldman ended in divorce;

Her only child, Arlene Budrick, died in 1981. She leaves four grandchildren, Blaine Carman of San Jose, Calif., Peter Carman of Baltimore, Md., Megan Carman Slater of Valley, Wash, and Bethany Craig of Sperry ville; five great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the home of Bethany and Arthur Craig at 2:30 p.m. on April 9. The Rev. Jennings Hobson will be officiating.

Rogers Jones

Rogers Grant Jones, 71, of Nethers, died Thursday, March 16 at his residents.

Bom March 27, 1923. at Nethers, he was son of the late Joseph Robert and Eunice Carrie Dodson Jones.

Mr. Jones was a retired selfemployed carpenter and a decorated Army Air Force Veteran of World War'll.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Olive Jenkins Jones of Nethers; two daughters and son-inlaw, Diana Gayle Jones, Patricia and Albert Yowell of Etlan; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard Bruce and Dori Jones of Madrid, Spain; two brothers, Kelsie Jones of Etlan and Everette Jones of Culpeper; three sisters, Ruby Lillard of Nethers, Eva Roth of Somerset, New Jersey and Eleanor Jenkins of Etlan and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Earl Jones and a sister, Rachel Jones Lucena.

Graveside services were heid on Saturday, March 18 in Etlan Cemetery with military honors and the Rev. Tommy Palmer officiating.
