Mix’N Munch Snack Mix
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 /2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 T Worcestershire sauce
6 cups air-popped popcorn
2 cups bite-sized shredded whole wheat cereal
2 cups toasted oat cereal
1 1/2 cups pretzels
Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Melt margarine in small saucepan. Stir in salt, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. In large bowl, combine popcorn, cereals and pretzel sticks. Pour margarine mixture evenly over popcorn mixture; toss gently to coat. Spoon into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 or 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring twice during baking. Cool. Store in airtight container. Makes 10 (1cup) servings.
No-Bake Granola Bars
2 1/2 cups rice cereal
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 it cup light com syrup
1 /2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
In large bowl, combine cereal, rolled oats and raisins; set aside. In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and com syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla; Blend until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture; mix well. Press into ungreased 13x9 inch pan. Cool; cut into bars. 20 bars.
